Something New for South Beach, a Sophisticated and Elegant Hotel
Phase 1 of renovations complete for multi-million dollar boutique hotel on Ocean Drive, The Betsy Ross Hotel.
Miami Beach, FL, December 14, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Betsy Ross Hotel, located on world-famous Ocean Drive in South Beach, has completed its first phase of renovations as it begins its metamorphism towards a more sophisticated and elegant upscale hotel. This multi-million dollar property received upgrades throughout the exterior, lobby, hotel rooms and hallways.
Brand new awnings, tiles and lighting were added to augment the hotel’s exterior, and the façade was repainted in creamy eggshell color to achieve the traditional colonial-style look. Stylish pool and patio furniture were placed along the perimeter of the pool making it the place for ultimate relaxation.
Interior improvements to the 61 room boutique hotel began with the hallways, which received freshly painted walls and new carpeting. The upgrade to all rooms include Aveda bathroom amenities, plush pillow top mattresses, luxury Frette linen packages, new carpeting, wide mirrors in the bathroom, plantation shutter window treatments, wireless internet access and high definition LCD televisions to help make the guest’s experience both comfortable and pleasurable.
Another new and exciting addition to The Betsy Ross Hotel is the greatly anticipated, ‘Betsy Bistro.’ This on-property restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, as well as provide room service. Guests will have the option to sit indoors or outdoors on the sidewalk along Ocean Drive.
“Nothing is more fulfilling than seeing our guests leave with a smile,” says Armando Hernandez, general manager of The Betsy Ross Hotel.
The Betsy Ross Hotel is managed by Desires Hotels, the boutique division of Tecton Hospitality. For more information about The Betsy Ross Hotel, please visit www.betsyrosshotel.com.
