With Only Two Weeks Remaining, Tampa Bay Small Business Jumpstart Welcomes Four New Contributors for 2010 Award

New contributions boost the award package over $23,000 and further diversify pro bono services for an aspiring entrepreneur.

Tampa, FL, July 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Four more businesses have joined forces with Heidelberg PR, Intelligent Office and Wildfire Marketing Group to support the Tampa Bay Small Business Jumpstart program, which will donate over $23,000 in pro bono start-up services to a local entrepreneur who has ventured into self-employment when many large corporations have downsized and many small companies have folded.

"Our program is designed to help a new business owner tackle and overcome obstacles that all new business owners face," said Tampa Jumpstart founder, Jeremy Knauff, CEO of Wildfire Marketing Group, Inc. "But today, more than ever, we know we can really make a difference for our winner in overcoming some startup scenarios that can be expense and time consuming," he said.

With the addition of the new contributors, the contest winner will receive over $23,000 in pro bono business start up services to launch a company of their own.

In addition to the original services, which include web & graphic design, public relations, virtual office & receptionist, printing, IT services, accountant consulting, business education and counseling from the USF Small Business & Development Center, and a life coach, the 2010 winner will also receive support from the new contributors: a customized rear-window screen donated by Tampa Bay Vehicle Wraps, consultation and counseling on business insurance options from Prime Group Insurance, and branded apparel from United Threadworks.

The 2010 Tampa Jumpstart winner will also have the benefit of an affinity marketing partner, Hillsborough Achievement & Resource Centers, (HARC), who will bring a unique combination communication options and relationships to the winner’s marketing mix.

To qualify for the 2010 Tampa Bay Small Business Jumpstart, aspiring entrepreneurs must meet two primary criteria:

They started planning and developing a business of their own in the last twelve months (since June 1, 2009)

They currently must be working on their new business full-time – with no other full-time job.

The application for the 2010 Tampa Jumpstart program is available at www.tampajumpstart.com, along with some video features about their inaugural 2009 Tampa Jumpstart Winner, Mike Mayo of Golden Vision Photography. The application deadline is 5 p.m., July 30, 2010.
