Last Call - CEIL Extends Call for Papers Deadline for GOVgreen Conference and Exposition
CEIL extends the call for papers deadline for the 2010 GOVgreen Conference and Exposition. The deadline has been extended through July 30, 2010.
Alexandria, VA, July 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Due to the overwhelming number of requests for an extension, The Center for Environmental Innovation and Leadership (CEIL) is extending the call for papers deadline for the 2010 GOVgreen Conference and Exposition. The GOVgreen Conference and Exposition is targeted to federal government professionals responsible for green and sustainable programs and projects affected by the mandates of Executive Order 13514.
“We’ve had such a surge of requests for information from government and private sector individuals interested in providing sessions at GOVgreen that we decided to extend the deadline,” says GOVgreen’s Director of Programming, Danielle Miller Wagner.
The deadline has been extended through July 30, 2010. GOVgreen Conference and Exposition will offer over 30 educational sessions at the event November 9-10. There are four education tracks on energy, transportation, conservation and facilities. Speakers and presenters are drawn primarily from government agencies including the Department of Defense, General Services Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Department of Interior, and others. Dr. Dorothy Robyn, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Installations and Environment, is one of the featured keynote speakers.
GOVgreen Conference and Exposition is free to all credentialed government and federal professionals. Call for paper submissions will be reviewed by an Advisory Council composed of government professionals involved in overseeing green and sustainable programs. Members of the Council will determine the 2010 GOVgreen programming based on the educational value for government professionals responsible for greening the federal government.
