Health Decisions Appoints New CTO to Streamline Its HD360° Trial Management Platform
CRO hires Bryan Minihan to boost data integration and flow, providing sponsors and sites with a one-stop web portal for near real-time study information.
Durham, NC, July 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Health Decisions (www.HealthDec.com), a full-service clinical research organization (CRO) specializing in adaptive solutions for high-efficiency clinical development, has appointed Bryan Minihan as Chief Technology Officer. Minihan will strengthen Health Decisions’ proprietary HD360° technology platform—the fully integrated CTMS, CDMS and web portal that powers the company’s Agile Clinical Development methodology. By expanding the capabilities of HD360°, Health Decisions will provide its sponsors with extended data capture options; a collaborative and secure web-based platform to house near real-time data and metrics; and the ability to acquire timely, actionable insight into operational status.
“Agile Clinical Development is rooted in the ability to track and access the key indicators of study efficiency to allow operational improvements,” said Rick Farris, COO of Health Decisions. “Bryan will provide the expertise and leadership to optimize HD360°, the technological backbone responsible for the collection, assembly, and integration of this constant flow of information. Under his guidance, HD360° will empower our sponsors and study teams with immediate insight into the progress of their studies, allowing early detection and correction of emerging issues before they threaten budget and timeline. HD360° will also reveal opportunities to reallocate monitoring resources or otherwise improve efficiency. We are thrilled to welcome Bryan to the Health Decisions team.”
Minihan brings fifteen years of IT and IS experience to Health Decisions, specializing in agile and traditional project management; usability and interface design; web application development; network engineering; and software architecture. He has built productive, motivated IT teams as CTO for three Internet startup companies, directed GlaxoSmithKline’s global intranet usability and web analytics team, and driven the development of projects and products for Accenture, Intuit, and Cisco.
“Health Decisions has a twenty-year history of deploying cutting-edge technologies that empower sponsors and study teams to take control of their clinical programs,” said Minihan. “I’m excited to be a part of Agile Clinical Development and its mission to fulfill the most basic need of the drug development industry: immediate access to the most accurate, actionable information to make clinical studies safer and more efficient than has previously been possible.”
