Grapevine Wine Tours to Launch Saturday, July 24
Lunch and dinner tours of Grapevine wineries offer fun, unique, affordable entertainment experience.
Grapevine, TX, July 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The newest addition to the DFW entertainment scene launches Saturday, July 24, with the inaugural Grapevine Wine Tours. For the first time, visitors and local residents alike may choose from daily lunch and dinner tours featuring the award-winning wineries throughout Grapevine.
Each tour offers tastings at three of Texas’ most-acclaimed wineries, each with its own unique history and charm, with a delicious lunch or dinner served at one of the stops. A 22-passenger shuttle – piloted by a professional tour guide – will transport guests from local area hotels to each of the fabulous tasting rooms in climate-controlled comfort.
Every tour provides a unique experience. Because the city is home to more extraordinary wineries than can be explored on any given tour, itineraries are rotated daily from among the following: Cross Timbers Winery, Delaney Vineyards, D’Vine Wine, Farina’s Winery & Café, Homestead Winery, La Buena Vida Vineyards and Su Vino Winery. Guests will also see Historic Grapevine Township, with its rich array of art galleries, shops and restaurants.
“We are absolutely thrilled with all the excitement that has been building around the launch of our tours,” said Ladd Biro, co-owner of Grapevine Wine Tours (www.GrapevineWineTours.com). “We believe we’ve created a fun, unique and affordable entertainment experience that’s perfect for out-of-town visitors as well as local residents, many of whom have no idea there are seven wonderful wineries right in their back yard.”
Lunch and dinner tours are offered Monday through Saturday. Individual prices are $54.50 for lunch tours (from 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM), and $74.50 for dinner (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM), plus tax. Group rates and deluxe packages designed for corporate outings, birthday celebrations, Girls Nights Out and other special occasions are also available. Call 817.259.WINE (9463) or email info@GrapevineWineTours.com for more details.
The shuttle will typically pick-up and drop-off guests at three Grapevine hotels – Embassy Suites Outdoor World, Hilton DFW Lakes, and the Gaylord Texan Resort. Special accommodations can be made for groups staying at other local hotels. Local residents are asked to meet the shuttle at one of the primary hotel stops.
At the conclusion of each tour, guests will also be invited to cast their votes for Grapevine’s “Most Outstanding Winery” and “Most Outstanding Wine.” Awards will be announced quarterly and annually, exclusively by Grapevine Wine Tours.
To make reservations, or for additional details on group rates, packages, itineraries and more, please call 817.259.WINE (9463), or visit www.GrapevineWineTours.com.
