The Merchant Prince (themerchantprince.net) Begins Offering Products to International Customers
The Merchant Prince, an online retailer located at www.themerchantprince.net, will immediately begin offering its products to customers in nearly every country in the world.
Indianapolis, IN, July 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Online retailer The Merchant Prince, located at www.themerchantprince.net, announced Friday that it will make all of its products available to international customers for purchase. Although the company has been gradually rolling out international availability since March, this move will make its entire inventory available to customers in nearly every country in the world.
The Indianapolis-based retailer, which sells everything from home appliances to cell phones, has been known for making aggressive moves in marketing, pricing, and other areas.
"This is a move we knew we had to make, and one we've been targeting for quite some time," said company president, Troy Tyson. "We've seen ourselves, from day one, as an international company - a company that would reach out to consumers across the globe and offer them great products, low prices, and fast shipping, regardless of their location."
Tyson also predicted that the move would give The Merchant Prince a competitive advantage: "We want to aggressively pursue international markets head on, because there are so many domestic retailers who are timid about doing so, or lack adequate knowledge of international markets. We think the future of e-commerce goes far beyond American borders, and we want to lead the push there."
While a small number of countries will be left off of the list, due to trade restrictions or high-risk status, 95% of the world's countries will now have access to The Merchant Prince's products under the new format.
