Woodshock 2010 Organizers Reveal Powerful Band Lineup and Relocate the Event to the Reborn and Revamped Venue at Legend Valley
Tim Buchenroth announces a full lineup of bands known nationally and internationally, with the best collection of “local” bands ever to perform at Woodshock. This is the 14th Annual Woodshock Music Festival being held for the first time at Legend Valley, in Thornville, Ohio.
Thornville, OH, July 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The main genre is rock/metal with dozens of subgenres ranging from southern rock to thrash metal. Fans across the Midwest and beyond have anxiously waited to hear who will be playing at this year’s Woodshock – an outdoor rock party. Event organizers kept the bursting lineup sealed for as long as possible but the sutures have been torn-off – revealing the “Baddest” Woodshock lineup ever.
At least a dozen bands performing at Woodhsock 2010 have achieved “headliner” prominence. Sevendust has sold over 2 million albums to date and All That Remains “ATR” has sold over half-a-million albums in the United States alone. Sevendust and ATR’s music has escaped the cagey enclaves of underground headbangers and reached a more diverse audience. Sevendust and ATR’s resumés are extensive and include worldly known hits, music videos, movie soundtracks and inclusions in video games.
10 Years and Straight Line Stitch – both originating in Knoxville – are also mainstream acts in the heavy “face-ripping” world of rock & metal. 10 Years has held it’s own on the Billboard Charts with the number one single: Wasteland. Active rock stations across the nation air the music of these rock powerhouses daily. Several other bands performing have recording contracts with well-known labels.

The burgeoning event plugged as “Bigger, Better, Badder” will be held at Legend Valley, in Thornville, Ohio, on August 13th – 15th, beginning at 10:00 AM Friday and ending 2:00 PM Sunday.
Woodshock overflowed from the hilltops of Logan County and will flood Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio, with serious rock music – thanks to the vision and fusion of efforts between Tim Buchenroth (Founder of Woodshock) and Steve Trickle (Legend Valley President).
Tim and Steve are combining experience, resources and talent – creating one of the largest outdoor rock extravaganzas (party, concert, festival, campout – including RVs) in existence; hosted at the reborn and possibly best outdoor venue in Ohio.
Tim started Woodshock as a birthday party 14 years ago. Each year the guest list grew and Tim had to find a bigger tent. Legend Valley is the perfect place for Tim’s extended family of thousands of rockers. Steve hosts Hookahville at Legend Valley. Hookahville is a biannual event in existence for 16 years, where the non-distorted acoustic guitar is the predominant instrument.
The hills of Legend Valley will be rocking and trembling for the first time since the mid 1990’s. Many may remember it from the past as Buckeye Lake and former venue where Motley Crue, Rage Against The Machine, The Grateful Dead, Crosby Stills Nash and Young and others enthralled crowds.
