Sponsorships Open for WSI’s Annual Charity Golf Event with All Proceeds Going Towards Eradicating Child Poverty
World’s Largest Digital Marketing Franchise Invites Businesses to Sponsor Its Charity Golf Event and Help Support Its Make Child Poverty History Program.
Toronto, Canada, July 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- WSI, the world’s largest digital marketing franchise, is organizing an annual charity golf event on September 23 at its Global Excellence and Innovation Convention in Miami, USA. This year, the company is inviting businesses around the globe to sponsor the event with all proceeds going toward its Make Child Poverty History (MCPH) Program, a global initiative that provides needy children with the basic necessities of life.
Ron McArthur, President of WSI, says, “Since social responsibility is one of WSI’s core principles, we strive to serve as a catalyst to help eradicate child poverty around the world in many different ways through our Make Child Poverty History (MCPH) Program. From corporate and individual child sponsorships to fundraising events and donation drives, our worldwide network of franchisees and suppliers help to accomplish the MCPH goal of providing food, water, health care and education to children in need. This charity golf event is another unique platform for helping hands to come together through a sporting event and make a difference. This year, businesses of all sizes and industries in various regions around the world can get involved by sponsoring the event and making a contribution towards MCPH.”
There are 3 types of sponsorships available, each with unique branding opportunities. For a donation of $50, a business can have their logo featured on a Make Child Poverty History (MCPH) banner at the golf tournament. A $150 donation will allow a business to feature their logo on a large banner at the tournament and receive a certificate from WSI thanking them for their contribution. The third sponsorship level is a $250 “sponsor a hole” opportunity, which gives donors the ability to brand themselves with a “Sponsored Hole” sign at one of the holes on the golf course. In addition, those who sponsor a hole will have their name and logo featured on a large banner and receive a signed wall plaque from WSI thanking them for their contribution.

Doug Schust and Linda Dinelle, WSI Consultants and co-organizers of the event, explain that the goal of the sponsorship program is to raise $20,000 toward Make Child Poverty History (MCPH). “With the support of our franchisees and suppliers as well as other businesses around the world, we can easily meet this goal. We strongly encourage companies take part in this important cause by simply becoming a sponsor. Not only will they be helping desperate children in need, they will also be able to promote their business. All proceeds will go directly towards MCPH and will ensure that impoverished children everywhere will receive much needed food, clothing, health care and education.”
WSI has always been an active force in its initiatives to help sponsor children around the world through the international charity organization, World Vision. Over the past 6 years, as a founding member of Make Child Poverty History, WSI continues to give back to those in need by organizing fundraising campaigns, such as this charity golf event, to sponsor additional children each year.
