It’s A Green Day Festival. Saturday August 7th, NTC Park – Liberty Station - Point Loma.
San Diego, CA, July 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- It’s a Green Day Festival held at Liberty Station- NTC Park, 2455 Cushing Rd. San Diego, California 92106 – San Diego honoring Veterans with a Purple Heart opening ceremonies invites everyone to join the celebrations. At the festival there will be emerging and obtainable technologies available for purchase that promote solutions to environmental problems, ways to green the world by saving energy, reducing pollution, recycling, healthy living, green home products, educational workshops and eco-businesses. Enjoy arts and ecology activities for children and adults, dynamic workshops, info booths, delicious snacks, eco fashions and a non stop line up of musicians and much more all with an eco lifestyles theme. Businesses, non-profit groups and artists coming together for this event demonstrate that cultivating clean energy and caring for natural and human resources is vital to the health and future of the planet and really is a whole lot of fun.
Help Is Here Inc., All Green Electronics Recycling and The Green Expo will be sponsoring a Free event that will be educational and Fun for the community of San Diego. All Green Electronic Recycling will be providing a Free E-Waist Drop-Off. CSI West will be sponsoring the electrical energy that will power the stage by utilizing clean energy from the Sun. There will be Free Live Reggae and Blues Music with World Anthem Band, East of Echo, Subliminal Trip and others. The opening ceremonies will commence with the San Diego Sea Cadets Corps, Challenger Division delivering a Color Guard in observance of Veterans, current servicemen and servicewomen who received the “Purple Heart Medal.” The Purple Heart is presented to those who have been wounded or killed while serving with the U.S. military. August 7th is the day to observe these servicemen and servicewomen.

Live entertainment, raffles, exhibitors, educational workshops, speakers, children’s activities presented by Nature of Art- including mural painting, and an Eco Parade. The event also features eco awareness to save the Earth, cultural arts, dance, and live music at a concert stage. Its A Green Day in San Diego will be an earth-friendly experience that is thought provoking, inspiring and enjoyable for all.
Its A Green Day Festival is a multi-city campaign dedicated to connecting people to resources and information for a greener planet, life with a focus on the dawning era of creativity, and innovation in "green technology" (also known as "clean technology").
