Carolina Mudcats to Celebrate Muddy the Mudcat’s Birthday Bash with School Supply Drive
Zebulon, NC, July 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Carolina Mudcats (http://www.carolinamudcats.com) is proud to present the following promotions during the upcoming homestand against the Jacksonville Suns beginning Wednesday, July 28 through Sunday, Aug.1.
- On Friday at the July 30 game, the team will celebrate Muddy’s Birthday Bash in honor of the team’s mascot, who will be turning six years old. As part of a School Supply Drive, fans can donate school supplies and receive one free general admission ticket to Muddy’s Birthday Bash. Please call (919) 269-2287 for more information. Guests can stay after the game and this special event to watch Friday Night Fireworks presented by Capital Bank. School supplies will be donated to Wake County Area Boys and Girls Club.
-The promotions kicked off on July 28 with the Wednesday deal for BJ’s Wholesale Club members to buy one box seat and receive a second box ticket for free. This promotion is subject to availability.
-The Carolina Mudcats will host Thirsty Thursdays on July 29. This promotion gives customers a special price on beer and fountain drinks throughout the game.
-On July 31, the first 1,200 adults over the age of 21 that enter the park will receive a Carolina Mudcats Budweiser Pint Glass Giveaway.
-The team will wrap up its homestand on Aug. 1 game with the traditional Sunday “Kids Run the Bases” promotion presented by Comet Rice. All children who attend that day’s game will be allowed to run around the bases weather permitting.
Games Wednesday through Friday begin at 7:15 p.m., while Saturday’s game starts at 6:15 p.m. and Sunday’s begins at 2 p.m.
