HRPS & i4cp Announce Strategic Human Capital Research Alliance

Collaborative partnership will enhance content of HRPS' quarterly journal, People & Strategy

Chicago, IL, July 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- HR People and Strategy (HRPS) and the Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp) announced a new strategic research alliance that will enhance the award-winning content of People & Strategy, the quarterly journal of HRPS. The journal will feature a dedicated i4cp research section that will extend the value of existing personal, team and organizational development materials already available to subscribers.

The i4cp Research Corner will provide new insights from its leading-edge human capital research and present applicable information on human resource topics that contribute to the achievement of organizational effectiveness, including:

- HR Strategy & Planning
- Leadership Development
- Talent Management
- Organizational Effectiveness
- Building a Strategic HR Function

“HRPS has been a valued strategic partner of i4cp, and this new relationship – which will regularly highlight current and cutting edge human capital research in People and Strategy – is a natural outgrowth of this partnership,” said Jay Jamrog, Senior Vice President of Research for i4cp. “We believe members of the i4cp network will also find the content in People and Strategy valuable and beginning immediately are making the publication available to our membership at a discounted rate as a result of this partnership.”

In addition to the most current theory and practices in strategic human resource management, the journal consistently features content by prominent thought leaders; recent contributions include articles by Dave Ulrich, Ed Lawler, John Boudreau, Lynda Gratton, Marcus Buckingham, Tamara Erickson, Morgan McCall, Ed Schein, W. Warner Burke, Karen Stephenson, Charles Handy, Ben Schneider and Peter Capelli.

“I’ve been connected with both i4cp and HRPS for many years and am excited about this new partnership which will benefit members of both organizations,” said Dr. Richard Vosburgh, Chief Development Officer for HRPS. “Regular readers of People and Strategy know that it consists of great thought leadership in addition to industry research, but that content is not overly academic and instead provides actionable strategies based on evidence-based findings.”
