Legacy Traditional School Opens K-8 Campus in Queen Creek
Legacy Traditional School, an Arizona “Highly Performing” school, opens its doors for classes at a brand-new 42,000-square-foot campus located at the northwest corner of Ironwood and Ocotillo roads.
Queen Creek, AZ, July 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Queen Creek’s latest elementary school arrives this fall with exceptional credentials and a track record for student success.
Legacy Traditional School, an Arizona “Highly Performing” school, will open its doors for classes on August 16th at a brand-new 42,000-square-foot campus located at the northwest corner of Ironwood and Ocotillo roads.
An Arizona charter school, Legacy Traditional School stresses a back-to-basics, accelerated curriculum and classes that offer the Spalding phonetics program, Saxon math, music and arts classes and a positive discipline program in a safe, structured environment for students.
The Queen Creek campus, located within the Ironwood Crossings subdivision and expected to accommodate 700 students, is the third location for school founders Aaron Hale and William Gregory, who also operate schools in Maricopa and Casa Grande.
The new school will include 26 classrooms, a high-school regulation size gymnasium, full-size kitchen, media center, computer lab and a full complement of playgrounds and sports fields.
“We’re excited for this opportunity to educate the children of the Queen Creek and San Tan Valley area,” Hale said. “This school reflects years of hard work and a dedication to shaping the educational futures of Arizona’s children.”
Three parent information meetings will be held before school starts, giving local parents a chance to learn more about the school’s curriculum and philosophy.
The meetings are scheduled for July 29, August 5 and August 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center. The center is located at 22149 E. Ocotillo Road (next to Queen Creek High School).
