EcoBroker International Tapped to Support Department of Energy Real Estate Initiative
United States Department of Energy tapped EcoBroker International's member database to add value to focus group for new website. EcoBrokers® from six states participated in the group review of the a new DOE website targeted towards real estate professionals.
Evergreen, CO, July 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- EcoBroker International, Inc., the leading provider of green tools and training for the real estate industry, was tapped to support the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Real Estate Initiative. As part of this support, EcoBroker Certified® members from six states participated in a Focus Group review of a new DOE website targeted towards real estate professionals.
Each participant provided feedback prior to the upcoming launch of this real estate agent resource website on Energy Efficiency: Building Technologies. Website launch is expected later in the year.
“The task of this focus group was to critique this DOE site on energy efficiency which is aimed at real estate professionals, with the hope they will then pass on this information to their clients as part of a broader mission to educate the public,” said Hayley Sterling, coordinator for the focus group. This initiative falls under the broader DOE ENERGY STAR program.
