Real Football 365, Inc. All-American Teams Announced
Miami, FL, December 19, 2006 --(PR.com)-- RealFootball365.com has announced its 2006 Division 1-A College Football All-American team. Three elite offensive and defensive units totaling 78 members make up this year’s team. Ten conferences are represented by 43 different universities, with the Big Ten Conference leading all others with 19 player honors. The Southeastern Conference placed 11 players on this year’s team, followed by the Pac-10 Conference with 10, and the Big East and ACC both with 8.

Top ranked Ohio State leads all schools with seven players on this year’s team, followed by Michigan, Texas, and Penn State with four players each. Florida, California, and BYU each had three players cited. Perhaps the most glaring omission on this year’s All-American squad is the lack of representation from traditional powerhouse programs Miami, Nebraska, Georgia and Alabama. Over the years, these four programs have placed dozens of players on various All-American lists throughout the country.

“The one distinction that sets the RealFootball365 All-American Team apart from others is our “12th Man” Utility position on the offensive units,” said Hugo Guzman, RealFootball365.com editor-in-chief. “The players selected to this position on each respective unit of our 2006 All-American Team are multi-threat backs who are just as comfortable as receivers as they are chugging the ball on the ground.”

Following on the next three pages are the seventy-eight elite D-1A college football players selected to the 2006 RealFootball365.com All-American Team.
