The 2008 ICM “Songwriting of the Year,” Award Winner, Kris Miller Has Joined the Double E Promotions Roster

Nashville, TN, August 04, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Award winning Christian Country artist, Kris Miller has joined the Double E Promotions roster. The song, “I’m Listening Now” with special guest vocalist, Eric Hinson from the famous Hinson Family will be Miller’s first single with Double E Promotions and be featured on their August release of Compilation Disk #154.

Kris Miller has won first place song writing awards from the North American Country Music Association in 2010, the prestigious ICMA in 2010 and took home the Inspirational Country Music “Songwriting of the Year” Award in 2008. Her first CD, “Alive and Well”, was entered into the GRAMMY® process and has received multiple honors from the music industry. Kris also leads the acappella choir, Pure Righteousness, which performs at prisons, churches, nursing homes, radio and TV.

The Hinsons (sometimes referred to as The Original Hinson’s) were a multi-award winning Southern Gospel group that was formed in 1967. In 1982, Eric recorded the project "Hinson’s" With the family. This project featured Eric on the songs "Beyond the Shadow Of A Doubt" and "Noah." In 1983, Eric was featured on The Hinson’s' only "Christmas" project, singing the Christmas classic "Silent Night." Also in 1983, he recorded his only live project with the Hinson’s entitled "Lift The Roof Off." This album featured Eric on the songs "The Dream", “Soldier In The Army" and "Beyond The Shadow Of A Doubt.” In 2005, Eric released his first solo project entitled "Reflections of My Heritage," featuring the song "Once Again.”
