PRA Receives Highest Accreditation Status from CARF Survey

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) presented Progressive Rehabilitation Associates, LLC (PRA) with a three year re-accreditation for its Interdisciplinary Pain, Occupational (Work Hardening & Conditioning), and Brain Injury Outpatient Rehabilitation programs.

This achievement represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and is evidence that PRA has met CARF internationally recognized standards for efficiency, fiscal health, and service delivery which ultimately means better outcomes and greater satisfaction for the people they serve. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation outcome has put itself through a rigorous peer review process, and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.

CARF surveyors listed numerous strengths in many areas including: “Leadership from a highly experienced and tenured management team with a focus on providing high quality clinical services to persons recovering from brain injuries and chronic pain. Communication between team members, team collaboration and flexibility in meeting the needs of persons served” were also noted. Furthermore, “PRA demonstrates exemplary conformance to the standards for having the services of a physiatrist on-site and available as a team member on a full-time basis” and for the “robust psychology staff available to provide intervention and care direction for persons served.”
