Infinite Wisdom Day Promises Thoughtful Dialogue
Sikh Research Institute will host a discussion free and open to the public in San Antonio, Texas, on August 8, 2010, 1t 4pm. The event, Infinite Wisdom Day, will feature a multi-faith panel discussing the paradigm of religious acceptance moving toward tolerance.
San Antonio, TX, August 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In celebration of the One Integrative Force revealed in the Sikh scriptural cannon, the Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh Research Institute of San Antonio, Texas, will be hosting an event that is free and open to the public. The event, Infinite Wisdom Day, will integrate religious and non-religious perspectives in seeking to explore the question: How can I shift the paradigm from tolerance to acceptance? Presenters will relate this question to their own philosophy,
personal faith and experiences.

The Reverend Stephen Nickle is ordained in the Presbyterian denomination of the Christian church. He has been serving as the Chaplain at Trinity University since 2000.
Dr. Jan Puckett has been a practicing Buddhist for 25 years. She is the director of Rigpe Dorje Center, a Buddhist meditation center founded by Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, a teacher of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
Nick Lee is President of the Freethinkers Association of Central Texas, and serves on the Advisory Board of the San Antonio chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State.
Dr. I.J. Singh is a member of the Sikh Research Institute Board of Directors and serves on the Advisory Board of United Sikhs. He is a published author, a regular columnist for the online magazine Sikhchic and lectures regularly on interfaith issues.

Harinder Singh, chief programming officer at the Sikh Research Institute, commented on the inspiration for the event, “We want this to be an opportunity to add to the South Texas’s bi-cultural roots and to move it to multicultural dimensions. In today’s global context, we seek insights from various beliefs systems to shift our paradigms once again.”
There will be a question and answer session with the panel following the main portion of remarks, and members of the community are encouraged to attend and bring their ideas and comments to the discussion. The event will be held 8
August 2010, at the Concept Therapy Institute at 25550 Boerne Stage Road in San Antonio at 4pm. There will be dinner offered at 6pm following the panel discussion and questions.
