CTA Digital’s Successful Partnership with ‘Kids Are Heroes’ at E3 Expo

CTA Digital celebrated a successful partnership with nonprofit Kids Are Heroes at the Los Angeles gaming expo E3 in June to introduce its Inflatable Race Kart for the Wii. Kids Are Heroes ambassador and cart racing enthusiast Ricky Springer, 8 years old, demonstrated CTA Digital’s new Inflatable Race Kart for the Wii at E3 to crowds of gaming aficionados.

Brooklyn, NY, August 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- CTA Digital proudly premiered its Inflatable Race Kart for the Wii at the June E3 Expo in Los Angeles as part of its partnership with nonprofit organization Kids Are Heroes. CTA Digital helped to raise awareness of Kids Are Heroes, as expo attendees tested the Kart for themselves and met 8-year-old Kids Are Heroes ambassador and cart racing enthusiast Ricky Springer in a relaxed, fun environment.

Through the partnership, CTA Digital hopes to raise awareness of and encourage participation in Kids Are Heroes, a nonprofit organization that promotes ordinary little kids doing extraordinary things to make the world a better place. CTA Digital also hopes to raise awareness for Ricky’s Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorder and encourage donations to either or both causes. CTA Digital is committed to working with nonprofits to improve the lives of people in various communities.

The design team at CTA Digital created the Inflatable Race Kart specifically for children and adults alike. Kids can simulate actual driving by sitting behind a steering wheel, instead of fumbling with Wii Remotes. The Kart’s hard plastic steering wheel connects to a dashboard that holds the Wii Remote. Players of up to 300 pounds can comfortably sit on the soft seat and maneuver through on-screen racing obstacles using the MotionPlus-compatible steering wheel. Compatible with Mario Kart, Need for Speed, NASCAR Kart Racing, and other Wii racing games, the Kart encourages children to pretend they are racing on the track. Because it is inflatable, the Kart can easily be stored and moved.

As part of the partnership, Ricky, a cart racing enthusiast who raises money for those afflicted with Eosinophilic Gastrointenstinal Disorder, demonstrated the Inflatable Race Kart to the crowd. Ricky’s enthusiasm for kart racing engaged attendees and encouraged them to enjoy racing games like never before. As a kart racing enthusiast, he donates all the money he receives through his own “Racing for a Cause” campaign to the nonprofit American Partnership for Eosinphilic Disorders (http://www.APFED.org). Ricky hopes that, with the Inflatable Racing Kart, more children will have the opportunity to feel the excitement of kart racing through their Wii consoles.
