InnoVet® to Donate Digital Versa DR to Qualifying ACVR Teaching Hospital
Visit with InnoVet at the Annual Meeting for the American College of Veterinary Radiology August 16-19, Grove Park Inn & Spa, Asheville, NC
Chicago, IL, August 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- News fromInnoVet®.
The Most Trusted Name in Veterinary Radiography.
InnoVet®, the first brand to offer dedicated veterinary x-ray equipment, will meet with ACVR Diplomats throughout the four-day meeting to identify candidates for this new partnership.
Greg Oravec, Director of Clinical Sales explains that “more than 80% of practicing DVMs were trained on an InnoVet system. This donation continues our commitment to veterinary radiology in the digital age.”
Justin Sossin, Digital Installation Specialist for Summit Industries, InnoVet’s parent company, points out that InnoVet stands to gain from the relationship as well. “We see partnering with accredited ACVR teaching hospitals as a win-win situation. We help advance veterinary radiology while also gaining valuable product feedback from the industry’s brightest minds.”
Greg Oravec and Justin Sossin will also be available to consult with ACVR Diplomats about their current digital imaging needs to determine if Versa DR is the right solution for their students.
The Versa DR digital x-ray machine is already earning positive feedback from its beta trials in animal hospitals throughout Chicago. Byron De la Navarre D.V.M., Chief of Staff & owner of the Animal House of Chicago, installed an all-new Versa DR in December and adds, "After having done exhaustive research into all the options for digital radiography InnoVet’s Versa DR offered all the best options in a size that easily fit into our limited space.”
Dr. Navarre’s practice was an ideal beta site for the first Versa DR installation because it serves multiple species. Dr. Navarre continues, “Versa DR was the perfect match to obtain perfect digital images for all species from 120 lbs Great Danes to 7 gram finches. Add to all these benefits the exceptional technical support and you have the best digital x-ray system on the market.”
Head Veterinary Technician Tracy De la Navarre agrees. “The Versa DR has been so easy to use. The digital technology is fast, easy to learn & implement and the sleek new design of the Versa DR is unlike anything we have seen in veterinary radiography.”
Versa’s signature rust-proof shell with rounded-corners and glossy finish offer an elegant look that is easy to clean and safest for technicians. Features of the Versa line include intuitive, easy-to-use functions, table-level animal restraints, lead-lined storage bins and options allowing veterinarians to select and pay for only what they need.
About InnoVet
InnoVet revolutionized veterinary radiography in 1991 with the first x-ray system designed by veterinarians for veterinarians. This revolutionary unit combined all the tools needed for an x-ray exam: a full-size table, moveable tubestand, 300 mA generator and lead-lined cassette box into one compact package. Prior to this time, vets were relegated to use human medical x-ray systems for the unique needs of veterinary imaging.
