Martha's Kitchen's Benefit Dinner: "A Culinary Adventure"

Martha's Kitchen will have a benefit dinner called "A Culinary Adventure" with this year's destination - Roma. The dining hall will be transformed into classical Rome for the occasion. Experience the grandeur that was Rome while supporting the soup kitchen.

San Jose, CA, August 31, 2010 --(PR.com)-- "A Culinary Adventure": 2010 Destination- Roma.

It literally takes a cast of thousands (donors and volunteers) to feed the hungry at no charge. But on Friday, October 8, 2010, Food and Wine will literally flow at Martha's Kitchen annual benefit dinner. Only once a year is there a charge for dinner and that is only to raise funds to continue feeding the hungry at no cost to them. The first Benefit Dinner was in celebration of Martha's Kitchen's 25th Anniversary in 2006. Now, it has become the biggest fundraiser. Guglielmo Winery will provide wine for the wine tasting.

Free and open to the public, this kitchen/dining facility has been feeding the hungry in San Jose and surrounding communities since 1981. This year the kitchen will prepare its 2 millionth meal which are served onsite and at many other non-profit organizations. Free of charge.

Everyone's support in the form of an auction item, souvenir program ad or attendance is an investment in the services provided by these community other non profit organizations: The Salvation Army of San Jose and Gilroy, Sacred Heart Nativity Schools of San Jose, Goodwill, U.S.O., just to name a few.
