Rabine Group Foundation Holds Annual Charitable Golf Outing

Schaumburg, IL, August 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Rabine Group Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to invest time, talent and financial contributions needed to enrich the lives of children, elderly and underprivileged individuals, and to support medical research on a local and national level, held its annual golf outing fundraiser at The Ivanhoe Club in Mundelein, IL on Monday, July 26.

Through continued growth of the Rabine Group companies, the Rabine Group Foundation was founded in 2007 as a way to give back to the community. The annual golf outing began in 2009 as the main fundraiser for the Foundation, and after a successful first year, once again took place at one of the Midwest’s top rated private courses. The event has proven to be a great networking opportunity as well, attracting some of the area’s top executives and decision-makers and spreading awareness of the Rabine Group Foundation’s cause through the Chicagoland business community.

Rabine Group CEO Gary Rabine spoke at dinner, addressing the importance of businesses being involved in giving back to the community. “Corporate Social Responsibility, or CSR, is something that we’ve taken a hold of within our company. It’s not just about giving. It’s talking about it and getting your employees, vendors and customers involved in giving. What happens is you end up surrounding yourself with great people,” said Rabine.
