Franchise Council of Australia Names ActionCOACH Andrew Masi Finalist for Franchisee Award
Business Coach Andrew Masi is a finalist in the category of the Single-Unit Franchisee of the Year.
New South Wales, Australia, August 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Franchise Council of Australia has named ActionCOACH Business Coach Andrew Masi as a finalist in the category of the Single-Unit Franchisee of the Year.
Before joining ActionCOACH, Andrew Masi was an accountant, a financial planner, and a regional manager for National Australia Bank.
After spending several years in Melbourne, Andrew relocated to Maitland, in New South Wales, to be closer to family. Andrew looked at ActionCOACH as a business opportunity, and decided that it "had a good feel."
Since August 2004, being an ActionCOACH business coach has enabled Andrew to use his extensive financial and business knowledge to help business owners and executives achieve their goals.
Andrew’s ongoing passion is learning and self-development and he is keen to pass on this passion to others. Each month he gives his clients a book or audio-book which he has read and thinks will benefit that client’s well being.
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill is the book he relates to the most, and from it he learned that “there is no substitute for self-discipline.”
“You do what you have to do, when you should do it, even though you don’t feel like doing it at the time,” he says. “If the alarm rings, it is time to get up and go to work. If it is time to pick up your daughter from daycare, then now it is time to do it.”
Andrew enthuses about the importance of a business owner setting and getting dreams; these are the starting point for all his clients.
“The dream is the wish list, goals provide the time frame, plans are how we do it and action is the doing of it,” he says. “Unfortunately, people try to start with the actions, but that is wrong.”
Whilst Andrew primarily works with owners of medium to large businesses, he also provides executive coaching for managers and executives of larger businesses and corporations. He tells a life-changing story about one of his first clients, a business he began working with 6 years ago. They had never made a profit.
Today, another business is looking to buy into it; they have launched new products and new technologies and are a leader in their industry in Australia.
“This is great for a business that has been going for a while,” he says. “Usually this case scenario only occurs with start-ups.”
The business shifted from being in a nightmare situation to exceeding its wildest dreams.
The “system” for this company’s success?
“Plan the next 12 months, but break them into 90-day pieces and have regular coaching,” he says.
Andrew is excited about being shortlisted by the Franchise Council of Australia and is looking forward to the presentation in Sydney.
