Shiekh Shoes Partners with Sony Pictures’ Screen Gems for “Takers”
Retail, Online and Street Team Promotion Used to Promote Feature Film.
Los Angeles, CA, August 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Popular urban contemporary retailer, Shiekh Shoes announced their promotional partnership with Sony Pictures’ Screen Gems upcoming theatrical release Takers.
Shiekh Shoes will promote the film through various strategies including the Takers’ Jet to Vegas Sweepstakes where a winner will receive a trip for 2 to the Takers movie premiere in Las Vegas (sweepstakes runs July 24th – August 7th and one may enter by visiting www.shiekhteam.com). Other promotional giveaways, available at participating Shiekh stores, include limited edition Takers movie gift cards, Takers advanced screening pass gift-with-purchase of T.I.’s Akoo clothing line and movie posters. In addition, Shiekh Team chapters in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, and Washington will be conducting Takers Nightclub Takeovers at teen and college parties to promote the film, the local Shiekh Team chapter and the Akoo product line during the month of August.
Takers takes you into the world of a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case. Takers hits theaters August 27th, 2010.
