OPF Held Talk to Educate Futures Traders and Investors
Filtration techniques in futures talk provide investor’s edge.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, August 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Oriental Pacific Futures conducted a futures talk on July 31 at Bursa Malaysia to educate investors on equity, commodity and financial futures. Teh Yeon Sziang, a well-known research specialist and regular speaker on the subject, presented a series of information on fundamentals of futures trading, market insights and methods for achieving investment return through technical analysis using filtration techniques. He also gave an in-depth talk on technical charts as well as addressed the psychology of trading and its methodology.
Ricky Chin Kok Thye, Executive Director of Oriental Pacific Futures, acknowledged the growing interest in Bursa derivatives products especially on halal-futures such as crude palm oil but disconnected by past sentiments and lack of trade knowledge. “The public may be disconnected by past sentiments and lack of trade knowledge - we address these in a series of in-depth educational seminars. Indeed, by proper education, there is now a clear understanding that trading futures can be a great platform for high yielding returns,” he said.
Royston Wee Eng Lim, Manager of Product Development at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, presented the opening speech as he welcomed all attendees and set the tone for the event.
Four participants walked away with lucky draw prizes sponsored by Telequote Malaysia. The talk was jointly organised and coordinated with Bursa Malaysia and Telequote Malaysia.
