Cornerstone Association, Inc. Presents: 2010 Healthcare/Eldercare Conference

Discover How to Grow Your Business & Increase Your Clientele: Help for micro-entrepreneurs coping with the challenges of growing pains in capturing more of the Healthcare/Eldercare marketplace.

Macon, GA, August 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Cornerstone Association, Incorporation is presenting a statewide conference on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, at Central Georgia Technical College in Macon, GA. This event is for Georgia’s existing micro-entrepreneurs who want technical assistance with marketing, business growth/development, and networking in order to expand their access to potential customers in the Healthcare/Eldercare industry.

Cornerstone Association, Inc. has provided facilitator lead workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs in low-wealth communities since 2004. They work specifically with low-income individuals who lack the educational skills required to plan, operate, and sustain small/micro businesses, which could allow them to become economically independent. Cornerstone Association's goal is to "Buidl Successful Organizations with Empowered People."

This conference is one of Cornerstone Association's major events for 2010. It is designed for small/micro business owners who provide services to senior citizens (i.e., nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home healthcare agencies). It features guest speakers from Federal, State and local agencies such as DOL Commissioner Michael Thurmond, the director of Middle Georgia’s Area Agency on Aging, Ms. Geri Ward, and many-many more. In today’s challenging economy these workshops give small business owners an opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals in the healthcare/eldercare and financial industries.

Cornerstone Association, Inc. (CAI) is a community-based non-profit/501(c) 3 organization located in Clayton County, Georgia. It was founded in 2004 to provide business development, grant writing and project management services to entrepreneurs, community/faith-based organizations, and government agencies throughout the state of Georgia. In May 2010, Cornerstone Association, Inc. opened Clayton County’s first Small Business Incubator.
