Restless Media Host Musical Showcase Featuring Meta & The Cornerstones at Sullivan Hall NYC
Meta & The Cornerstones take the stage with Radical Revolution, Zing Experience and Malik Work, for a night of roots, rap and reggae.
New York, NY, January 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Restless Media, the New York based creative agency, is hosting a musical showcase at Sullivan Hall, on Sunday, August 15, 2010, featuring Meta and The Cornerstones, as well as a host of up-and-coming artists and musicians. Meta and The Cornerstones will be the feature act in a lineup of incredibly gifted performers.
The musical showcase will feature four acts from the New York city area performing 30 to 45 minute sets. These include, Radical Revolution, Zing Experience and Malik Work. Between sets, DJ Twilite Tone will be spinning mixes to keep the crowd entertained.
Doors open at 8:00 pm, with the first act, Radical Revolution, taking the stage at 9:00 pm. They will be followed by Zing Experience at 9:45 pm, Malik Work at 10:30 pm, and then the headliners, Meta and The Cornerstones, at 11:15 pm. Malik Work will be doing double-duty, performing on stage and acting as the evening's host.
The showcase is being produced by Kofi Bannerman, Ugo Ezenkwele and Stephen Chukumba, the principals of Restless Media, who want to highlight a few of the talented undiscovered acts in the City. "Our main focus is to give these young artists a place to showcase their talent," says Kofi Bannerman, Restless Media's CEO. "We want Sundays at Sullivan Hall to be a place where bands know they're welcome."
"There is so much talent in the city, that most people don't know about. So Sundays are going to be a chance for people to get an education about quality reggae, calypso, roots and hip hop music. We want to bring well know acts, like Steel Pulse and Midnite on stage with new cats, like Meta, Andre and Zing, and give folks a chance to see the past present and future of music."
