WingSpan Pictures to produce groundbreaking Feature “Abby 33”
WingSpan Pictures is reaching new heights with the groundbreaking feature film “Abby 33,” a drama analyzing the life of a 33 year old wife, mother and physician who is struggling with depression.
“Abby 33” is an innovative seven part series not only designed to entertain audiences, but also be used as an education tool by one of America's highest ranking Universities as part of their Master's in Social Work curriculum.
“Educational video doesn’t have to be traditionally boring… by infusing a bit of Hollywood we are able to create cinematic projects that engage the viewer and stimulate the mind,” says creator, Kim Rocco Shields.
“Abby 33” is scheduled for release in fall 2010 and is produced by WingSpan Pictures. Also coming this fall is “Burn Crisis,” a drama following the life of a troubled man dealing with the aftermath of his house burning down before his eyes.
WingSpan Pictures, located in Los Angeles, is a fresh face in Hollywood but the company is already wining awards for their works in the new media genre. WingSpan Pictures has produced over 750 video projects in the last year, with over 1000 projected into 2011. WingSpan uses the latest in technology to bring a ‘film like’ look to all budget ranges – including utilizing Canon’s revolutionary 7D camera.
