TAG Launches Training Workshop for Innovative IT Hardware Programs
Carlson® Software and RDO® Equipment joined TAG for an in-depth training session focused on the TC-100 Commander™ Ultra-Mobile PC and rugged NEMA enclosure providing a strong platform for customer and end user support.
Dulles, VA, August 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Technology Advancement Group®, Inc. (TAG®), a leading manufacturer in rugged IT hardware systems, announces the launch of a dedicated training program designed to expand customer knowledge of the technology deployed in their systems. The first session was specifically geared for Carlson Software and RDO Equipment’s land development professionals engaged in the field.
This training is the culmination of over a year of planning and customer feedback, designed to give Carlson and RDO technicians the knowledge and experience needed to properly operate and maintain the TC-100 Commander™ Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC) and its associate NEMA enclosure system. By developing a training program TAG ensures that its customers can confidently maintain the Commander and NEMA enclosure to the highest of standards.
“The Commander is a significant evolution in the rugged UMPC industry,” said Peter Sarman, VP of Engineering Operations. “And with technology of this magnitude, we need to invest time and care in the people who use the products, ensuring that they get the most out of TAG’s solutions for their business.”
The training program, he stated, is an important component in an ongoing drive to deliver the company’s considerable technical know-how and support to its customers. “This training program is an explicit, important investment, designed to grow relationships and help our customers succeed in their business with TAG,” Sarman added.
Steve Griffith, Senior Program Manager for TAG, agreed. “This course has been developed in response to customer feedback, and with the involvement of the company’s diverse customers,” and according to Griffith, one critical need that customers repeatedly expressed was for hands-on, real-world experience with the equipment. The training program created by the dedicated staff at TAG for Carlson Software and RDO Equipment’s land development divisions, more than meets that requirement.
TAG enhanced the teaching and learning process with a detailed visual presentation followed by a 3D-Video showcasing TAG’s products integrated into the customer’s systems. The training course was conducted by expert instructors from TAG’s Engineering Division.
