Unicon Products, Inc. Launches Arabicjapan.com to Bridge the Gap Between the Middle East and Japan
Tokyo, Japan, August 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Translation and localization specialists Unicon Products, Inc. are launching the new website Arabicjapan.com with the aim of making Japan and its culture more accessible to the Arab world. As well as offering free web-based Japanese lessons, which will be updated regularly, they are also publishing articles which they hope will prove both insightful and informative for Arabs living in Japan, visiting Japan, or those who are just interested in the Japanese culture. The website also includes useful links and a forum in which users can ask each other questions or take part in general discussions about Japan, which Unicon Products hopes will turn into a thriving community.
In the past few decades, Japan has been opening up its borders to foreigners, and although the government and communities are working hard to embrace such changes, it seems that most efforts have been aimed at the larger influx of Westerners, leaving the Arabic community largely forgotten. Arabicjapan.com seeks to remedy this situation by offering Arabs a place where they can go for information to make their lives in Japan easier and more enjoyable, as well as to give back to the community by helping out those in similar situations through involvement in community discussions.
“Through meetings with community leaders here in Japan and during my business trips to the Middle East, one thing was clear; there is a great interest and respect for the Japanese culture whether it is due to the rich traditions we possess, the mystery of our religion and arts, or perhaps just the popularity of Japanese manga and anime. It is because of this that I wanted to do something to try and bridge the gap between our two cultures and offer a place for Arabs to meet, exchange views, and help each other, as well as encourage both Arabs and Japanese people to contribute to such a cause,” said Mike Sakamoto, President of Unicon Products, Inc.
