ARUP Laboratories staff has presented some recent research findings at two major meetings during the first two weeks of August. Posters were presented at the AMLI and ACM conferences.
Salt Lake City, UT, August 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- ARUP Laboratories continued to promote findings from a variety of recent research projects at two association meetings: the Association of Medical Laboratory Immunologists (AMLI) 23rd Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) BCB ’10 International Conference on Bioinformatics and Computational Machinery, held in Niagara Falls, NY.
ARUP Laboratories staff presented the following posters:
ACM
· David Crockett, Hernando Escobar, SR Piccolo, Perry Ridge, E Reyes-Vargas, Peter Jensen, Julio Delgado. A novel representation of HLA allele specificity and prediction algorithm for HLA class I binding.
AMLI
· Heidi Heninger, Thomas Haven, Mark Astill, Harry Hill. Detection of aquaprin-4 autoantibody by enzyme linked immunosorbant assay.
· A Wilson, Brenda Suh-Lailam, Anne Tebo. Correlation between antideDNA IgG antibody screening and confirmatory tests: a real world experience with diagnostic implications.
· Thomas Haven, A Wilson, Mark Astill, Jerry Pickering, Brian Pasi, Lily Wu, Harry Hill. Different frequency histogram in patient sera with and without voltage gated calcium channel autoantibodies.
· Troy Jaskowski, A Wilson, Harry Hill, Anne Tebo. Diagnostic assays for anti-PM/Scl antibodies: heterogeneity in antibody response or lack of standardization.
· Harry Hill, Anne Tebo. Evaluation of two reflexive algorithms for celiac disease serologic testing.
· Brenda Suh-Lailam, A Wilson, Anne Tebo. Performance characteristics of the FARRZYME™ high avidity anti-dsDNA IgG antibody ELISA.
· Igor Pavlov, Julio Delgado. Specificity of EIA immunoassay for complement factor Bb testing.
· Igor Pavlov, Julio Delgado. Validation of the complement component C1q RID assay.
