Go Wild in 2007; i-to-i Launches the Ultimate South Africa Wildlife Tour
Meaningful travel specialist i-to-i launches a unique tour of the Kruger National Park.
Leeds, United Kingdom, December 22, 2006 --(PR.com)-- For those looking for a wildlife experience in one of Africa’s last remaining cat havens, leading meaningful travel specialist i-to-i has introduced a unique tour that gets to the very heart of South Africa’s spectacular Kruger National Park.
The Ultimate Kruger Wildlife Tour is a two-week trip through the brightest jewel in Africa’s chest, The Kruger National Park. This 500 kilometre long park is teeming with wildlife, including some 507 species of birds, 336 species of trees, 147 mammals, 114 reptiles, 49 fish and 34 amphibians.
The tour kicks off in sub-tropical Nelspruit, 300 kilometres east of Johannesburg. Travellers will venture through the Panama route to Karongwe game reserve, where they learn about the area and visit some of the region’s most spectacular natural wonders, such as Bourke's Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon and God's Window.
Then it’s on to The Kruger National Park, where they are introduced to some of Africa’s wildest life on game walks and drives and have the rare opportunity to sleep under the stars in the bush. Wildlife fanatics also have the chance to learn a host of exciting new skills such as bushcraft, how to track animals, astronomy, and 4x4 driving techniques.
Matt Guiver, i-to-i spokesperson comments: “We call this The Ultimate Tour for a good reason. It provides an amazing chance to see Africa’s most famous animals, whilst getting involved in incredibly rewarding activities. Anyone who takes part will come out feeling like a true ranger!”
The 14 day tour costs £1,395 including accommodation, transfers and meals. Departure dates start 29th March 2007.
