Allegro’s Field Nursing Solution Wins Top Honours from Symbol Technologies

Mississauga, Canada, November 13, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Allegro Mobile Solutions announced today that it has received a 2006 Enterprise Mobility Solution Award from Symbol Technologies for its field nursing solution deployed by Community Care Access Centre Simcoe County. The project was judged best solution in the Americas International theatre which includes North and South America, excluding the United States.

Using the suite, nurses have the ability to order materials directly from the supplier as well as assess and track patient wounds in real-time. The solution has reduced duplicate orders, paper and printing costs and improved the decision making process at the point of care.
