1on1 Boxing Fitness Boxer to Fight in Bad Boy Boxing Tournament
1on1 Boxing Fitness Fighter Dameon Whitehorn will fight in the upcoming Bad Boy Boxing Event at Fort McDowell Casino.
Mesa, AZ, August 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- 1on1 Boxing Fitness, Mesa’s premier boxing fitness facility, fighter Dameon Whitehorn will fight up to three opponents in the Bad Boy Boxing Tournament on Friday, August 20 at Fort McDowell Casino.
The 30-year-old boxer has been fighting for three years, two and half of which he’s been training with 1on1 Boxing Fitness owner, former professional boxer and certified conditioning specialist Christopher Terry. Terry said the Bad Boy tournament is the ideal platform to showcase Whitehorn’s puncher fighting style.
“Dameon is exceptionally strong; and what he lacks in experience, he makes up for in pure power,” said Terry. “He will always maintain a puncher’s chance with his unbelievable one-punch power.”
Bad Boy Boxing is a single elimination-boxing tournament open to male fighters without professional boxing experience and with minimal amateur boxing experience. Up to $4,000 will be awarded in the tournament.
Whitehorn will fight up to three opponents in the tournament. Terry expects Whitehorn to face off against a mix of beginning boxers and street fighters.
“I believe if Dameon lands a solid punch on any of his opponents, it will be a short night for him, and he will quickly and easily be the bad boy champion,” said Terry.
The Bad Boy Boxing Tournament will kick off Friday, August 20 at 8:00 p.m. at Fort Mcdowell Casino located at 10424 North Fort McDowell Road in Fort McDowell. 1on1 Boxing Fitness is offering standing general admission tickets for $15, reserved seating tickets for $30 and ringside tickets for $50.
