Padilla & Associates Wealth Management Group and Clients Host Food Drive Benefiting San Antonio Food Bank

San Antonio, TX, August 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- To celebrate his fourth successful year in business in San Antonio, Dion R. Padilla, President and CEO of Padilla & Associates Wealth Management Group and an Investment Advisor Representative with NEXT Financial Group, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC, announced that his firm and its clients will be hosting a food drive benefiting the local food bank on August 19, 2010, at the Omni Colonnade from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

“In appreciation for all the support and trust I’ve received I feel it’s time to give back -- and that’s just what our ‘Give Back to San Antonio’ initiative is all about.” He indicated that throughout 2010 and beyond, Padilla & Associates WMG began an accelerated outreach and sponsorship program in the San Antonio community. In March, clients and team members volunteered at the San Antonio Food Bank for a day sorting food, Padilla said.

Padilla, a life-long San Antonio native, attributes his success directly to his community – the people of the city of San Antonio and surrounding areas. “For me, San Antonio is not just a place to do business, it’s like my business has become part of the family and culture of San Antonio. During the event, there will be a dinner along with comments and remarks for clients and San Antonio Food Bank members. Curt Meyer, Executive Vice President of WE2 Advisory, and Doug Gill, Co-Founder/CEO of Summit Alliance are guest speakers and will discuss the current state of the economy. Zuani Villarreal, Business Development Director and Eric Cooper, Executive Director, both from the San Antonio Food Bank, will be in attendance.
