North Scottsdale Chamber and The Breakfast Joynt Raise $550 for Singleton Moms
Check to be presented on Monday, Aug. 16, 2:00 pm, at The Breakfast Joynt in Scottsdale.
Scottsdale, AZ, August 15, 2010 --(PR.com)-- After a very successful fundraiser, the North Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce and its partner/member The Breakfast Joynt will present a check in the approximate amount of $550 to Singleton Moms on Monday, Aug. 16th at 2:00 pm at The Breakfast Joynt, 14891 N. Northsight Blvd #119, Scottsdale.
From Aug. 2 through Aug. 6 The Breakfast Joynt offered a special menu, with 50% of every special order promised to Singleton Moms. Over 115 special meals were served.
Singleton Moms is a non-profit organization that supports single mothers in their battle against cancer. Currently operating throughout the Greater Phoenix area, Singleton Moms provides these brave women with significant emotional, domestic and financial support, enabling them to focus on their cancer treatment and recovery. Singleton Moms offers assistance to eight women at any one time. The organization was started by a group of family and friends who wished to honor the memory of a caring, giving and incredibly brave single mother, Michelle Singleton.
