Handbag Company Charm and Luck Loses Financial Partner; Owner to Start How-to Website for Designers

Former owner of the handbag company Charm and Luck is now teaching designers the basics of starting an accessory company through her website www.AccessoryBusiness101.com.

Los Angeles, CA, August 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Christine Syquia, former President and Managing Director of charm and luck, is launching Accessory Business 101, a monthly membership site where aspiring designers learn the tricks of the trade. Christine who managed charm and luck’s main line, as well as their diffusion brands CALLA (charm and luck los angeles), Filippa Sweet Stockholm and Zandra Rhodes Handbags, was the Home Shopping Network (HSN) on-air salesperson for CALLA as well as head of charm and luck’s US operations.

“People were always trying to pick my brain under the guise of wanting to go out to lunch or have drinks. Early on, I realized I had critical information that designers want. So, I developed a curriculum where we literally go over the A-Z’s of starting an accessory company so that when they launch, or sometimes even re-launch a stagnant line, they are equipped to handle a multitude of situations,” explains Christine.

charm and luck closed last year after losing their financial partner.
