Mr. Zahm will join a team of experienced practitioners in the panel "Acquiring Distressed Financial Assets from the FDIC."

Mr. Zahm is Managing Director of EM Capital Global Advisors' Distressed Assets and Real Estate department. He oversees both principal investments and third-party distressed asset management and restructuring advisory services, including complex, cross-border and emerging markets situations. In addition, Mr. Zahm is the firm's Global Chief Compliance Officer for securities and regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions including U.S., India, Hong Kong, Mauritius and Cayman.

A licensed California attorney, Mr. Zahm is a member of the California State Bar Association, and is the Chair of the Financial Institutions Committee and a member of the Real Estate Finance Committee; San Francisco Bank Attorneys Association; National Association of Mortgage Brokers and the California Mortgage Association. Mr. Zahm is also a founder of a commercial mortgage fund, regulated by the California Department of Corporations as a California Finance Lender and holds a California Real Estate Broker License. Mr. Zahm earned his JD at Stanford Law School, an MBA at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town, South Africa and his B.A. at Colorado College (cum laude).
