Kenneth Bouche Elected to IJIS Institute Board of Directors
Ashburn, VA, August 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The IJIS Institute, a nonprofit organization that focuses on mission-critical information sharing for justice, public safety, and homeland security, announces that Kenneth Bouche has been elected to the IJIS Institute’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Bouche is senior vice president at Hillard Heintze, one of the leading strategic security advisory and management firms in the United States and an Inc. 500 company. Mr. Bouche previously served 23 years with the Illinois State Police where, as the colonel and chief information officer, he was responsible for modernizing and standardizing the agency’s technology functions. In this capacity, he oversaw the delivery of critical, real-time information to over 1,000 police agencies and 40,000 police and justice end-users.

From 2001 to 2006, Bouche was the chairman of the Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative, a Federal Advisory Committee that advises the U.S. Attorney General on justice information sharing and integration initiatives. In this capacity, he served as a national leader in improving America's information sharing capacity and implementing post 9/11 intelligence reforms.
