The Pittsburgh, PA trio released their self-titled LP last year through Authentik Artists and have been busy promoting their newest effort with live shows on the East Coast.

Meeting of Important People is a nationally touring three-piece indie-pop band from Pittsburgh, PA. The band’s debut single “Mothers Pay More” ignited a media and blogging frenzy in the Summer of 2008, and their self-titled full-length debut was a much talked about 2009 release.

The band has recorded with producer Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Iron&Wine) for a subsidiary of Sony/Epic and has shared the stage with renowned artists such as The Secret Machines and Blonde Redhead while receiving heavy international airplay on XM and terrestrial radio.
