Celframe to Build Multi-Million Dollar New Campus in the Silicon Valley
New York, NY, August 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- New York Based Technology Company Celframe is planning on building a new campus in the Silicon Valley. It will be their first campus worldwide, about 2600 miles from their present development center in Park Avenue, New York City, President Arun Pudur revealed in a recent video conference with the press last week.
"What has happened at Celframe is that our business has basically tripled in the last two to three years," Arun said on Tuesday evening video conference. "And what that's meant is that our headcount in the US has dramatically expanded, we are in two other buildings now, and they keep getting further and further away from the HQ,” he continues.
Having its employees spread over many locations quickly became very frustrating for Celframe, so several months ago the company decided that it needed to build a new campus.
With a dearth of corporate real estate in New York, Arun and company initially feared that they would have to shop for expansion space outside the town that has been Celframe's home for nearly a decade.
"After looking at a lot of options, we found something in Palo Alto that was a possibility. It was more expensive, a lot more expensive," Arun told the press members.
He explained that Celframe is looking at 5 different properties located in and around the Palo Alto, Mountain View areas where they will make a final decision later this year on the location.
He also adds that the company plans to level any old buildings that currently reside on the lot to form what will eventually be the company's new home, and its present HQ in New York will eventually function as a Partner Management center.
"We're pretty thrilled," Arun told the press. He said it would likely take three to four years to design and build the campus that will accommodate 1,000 to 1,500 employees.
"We'll probably get larger still," Arun said referring to the time period beyond its corporate expansion.
