Dodge Communications Announces Executive Promotions
Atlanta-based integrated communications firm adds depth and expertise to management team.
Atlanta, GA, August 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dodge Communications, an integrated communications firm serving the healthcare industry, today announced a series of executive promotions that reflect the company’s continued growth.
Promotions include the following:
Brian Parrish, vice president and principal. As an agency principal, Parrish will assume senior-level executive management responsibilities. He will continue to provide strategic oversight related to message development and integrated campaign execution to Dodge clients. Parrish brings experience in both the corporate and agency settings to Dodge, and has been with the firm since its founding in 2001. He was named one of the nation’s top individual PR practitioners as part of PRSourceCode’s “Top Tech Communicators Awards” for the past three years and is an active member of several industry organizations, including the HIMSS Public Relations Advisory Board.
Elizabeth Glaser, vice president. In her new role as vice president, Glaser will oversee the development and execution of integrated campaigns, as well as client branding strategies. She brings 20 years of healthcare communications experience to the Dodge management team. Before joining the firm, she helped numerous healthcare organizations – including the American Red Cross, Georgia Cancer Coalition, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, the Emory University Winship Cancer Institute, City of Hope and Georgetown University Medical Center – to creatively differentiate them from the competition. Glaser previously served as an account director and senior copywriter at Dodge, and has been with the company since 2002.
Ken Lopez, vice president. Lopez will be responsible for advancing the firm’s digital services offering and will oversee all developer-related projects, tools and platforms. He has more than 25 years experience in executive positions and has worked for a number of prominent agencies, including Studiocom, Agency.com and Red Sky Interactive. Lopez is also the founder and CEO of an interactive agency specializing in website creation and creative online marketing assets.
John Smith, vice president. With more than 20 years of healthcare communications and marketing experience with life science, medical technology and healthcare companies, Smith will spearhead Dodge’s expansion efforts into new healthcare markets. Prior to joining the firm, he managed healthcare accounts for Fleishman-Hillard, Manning, Selvage & Lee and Brodeur Worldwide. Smith has developed communications programs for a variety of clients, including Philips Healthcare, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Labcorp, PerkinElmer Life Sciences, InterQual, MediQual and others.
“This is a critical time in healthcare, and we are uniquely positioned to meet the emerging communications needs of all key stakeholders,” said Brad Dodge, CEO of Dodge Communications. “I’m excited about the growth of our management team and feel it further reflects our continued commitment to providing clients with the strategic counsel and creative that they need.”
