Roll Sound, Roll Camera and... “Repeat After Me” - Directors Wil Shriner and Rebecca Baughman Wed

Islamorada, FL, December 27, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Comedian/director Wil Shriner (Hoot, Frasier, Gilmore Girls), and director Rebecca Baughman (What I like about You, Dinner and a Movie), wed on the beach of the Florida Keyes just before Christmas. The couple met on the set of "Norm;" he was the director and she an assistant director. Wil and Becca fell in love with Florida last summer while shooting the film "Hoot"; based on Carl Hiaasen's best selling book; the author recommended the very private nuptial locale, The Moorings. It is the second marriage for both who are heading for the out islands of the Bahamas for their honeymoon.

Shriner, son of the humorist Herb Shriner, grew up in South Florida with his twin brother Kin (Scott Baldwin of General Hospital). Wil began his career as a stand up comedain working with David Letterman on his morning show and in nightclubs across the country. He went on to host his own Emmy-nominated talk show, "The Wil Shriner Show," after spending a few years as an actor "Peggy Sue Got Married" and "Amazing Stories." It was working with Francis Ford Coppola, that inspired him to become a film director. Friend and fellow Floridian Kelsey Grammer gave him a start directing Fraiser, quickly followed by Becker, Everybody Loves Raymond, My Wife and Kids, Raising Dad, Two Guys and a Girl, Living with Fran and most recently the Gilmore Girls.

Shriner most recently branched out and wrote and directed the feature "Hoot," and is currenty writing another feature film to be shot in Florida. Shriner has two grown children Nick (20) and Natalie (17). Rebecca has a BFA degree from USC's school of Cinematography in acting and directing. After working in television sitcoms for over 15 years, she finally reached her goal of directing. Each continue to direct television while enjoying their new home base in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
