About the author:

Dr. Ivana Segvic-Boudreaux grew up in Friendswood, Texas, a small town on the outskirts of Houston. She received her doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in Communication, with a specialization in Journalism. While working on her Ph.D., her constant companion was a little German shepherd puppy named Zorro. His sweet disposition, comic personality and unquestioning love were the premise of this book.

After working as a professor of journalism for several years and publishing in various magazines, journals and newspapers, Dr. Segvic-Boudreaux opted to stay home, raise her two daughters and write as a pastime. She lives in Mansfield, Texas, with her husband, Kevin, and her two daughters, Sofia and Daniella.
