The topic that will be discussed on Stephen Bikos Blog Talk Radio segment this coming Wed. Rahman states, that "The Afro still exists and that the Afro has opened up the door for the acceptance of hairstyles with what Rahman calls Afrocentered Flair like Braids, Twists and Locked hairstyles. The Afro along with the clinched fist symbolizes Black Power. Afros also symbolized black being beautiful in its natural state. Before the Afro if you wanted to feel beautiful one had to straighten their hair with heat at extremely high temperatures or use harsh chemicals. It's still happening today it's not as bad as it used to be." R.J. Rahman states "It seems like towards the end of every era of Black achievement Blond hair makes an appearance in the fashion world and then in the psyche of Black women of all shades. Now Black Women with Mocha, Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Brown hues are jumping on into the Blond Trend." Rahman will ask these questions on her up and coming interview "Why are Black Woman Adopting Blond hair? Is Blond hair on Black women a form of Empowerment? or is it reflective of a lack of cultural understanding?

Why are black women with dark skin tones becoming Blond?

Rahman will also talk about the positive behaviors toward Black Hair in the 21st century and she will brings up the behaviors that black people in the black community may want to question. The blond ambition that black women have of a darker hue needs to be discussed and needs to be addressed.
