Live monthly Boxing Illustrated Magazine Championship Fights from the CasaBlanca Resort Hotel Casino in Mesquite, Nevada to be featured on the TVS Television Network boxing channel.
Henderson, NV, August 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- On Monday, September 27, the TVS Boxing.Net advertising supported IPTV channel will switch from a Video on Demand channel to a 24/7 streaming boxing channel. The channel will be the first to feature a full time presentation of classic and current boxing matches.
Professional matches will include classic and current championship fights as well as other outstanding television fights from the past 60 years. Gillette Friday Night Fights, Pabst Wednesday Night Fights, Dumont Network Fights, Mizlou Network Fights, the Muriel Cigar Sunday Night Fights, Video Techniques Championship Fights, TelePrompTer Championship Fights, Boxing from the Olympic, the original TNT Network Championship Fights, Katz Television Network Fights, and TVS Television Network fights will all be featured on the channel.
Amateur fights include classic and current collegiate boxing matches, classic and current Golden Gloves boxing matches, classic AAU fights, and classic and current military boxing championships.
“We are delighted to be producing new championship professional and amateur boxing and presenting it on the TVS Boxing.Net IPTV channel on TV4U.Com,” said TVS Television Network CEO Tom Ficara. “We’ve been making quality sports shows for TV syndication since Eddie Einhorn founded the company in 1961 and we’re pleased to be keeping up the tradition.”
Classic fights include championship TV bouts involving Joe Louis, Ezzard Charles, Jersey Joe Walcott, Rocky Marciano, Willie Pep, Sandy Sadler, Joey Maxim, Jake LaMotta, Sugar Ray Robinson, Carmen Basilio, Art Aragon, Jimmy Carter, Joey Giardello, Floyd Patterson, Ingemar Johnasson, Sonny Liston, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, and Jimmy Ellis.
The Boxing Illustrated Championship fights will be monthly fights in 12 weight divisions and will all; be staged in the showroom of the CasaBlanca Resort Hotel Casino in Mesquite, Nevada. The CasaBlanca Resort Hotel Casino Event Center was the home to the recent Golden Gloves Junior National Championships to decide the winners in the 8-16 year old age groups.
“With the CasaBlanca Resort Hotel Casino bringing in a monthly nationally known boxing card in association with the Boxing Illustrated Magazine, we felt compelled to combine that effort with the 24/7 presentation of classic boxing matches from the history of television,” said TV4U CEO Charry Kennedy. “There are many quality boxing websites where boxing fans can follow the sport, but we will be the only IPTV channel where a boxing fan can tune in a classic or current championship fight any time, any day.”
Boxing Illustrated.Net will not only be the major sponsor of the monthly championship fights from the CasaBlanca Resort Hotel Casino, but will also present the Championship Belts in the 12 weight classes. Ring Magazine has also returned to this tradition in recent years, after several decades of several ‘alphabet soup’ sanctioning bodies presenting such championships.
In addition all fights seen on TVS Boxing.Net will also be available for download and on DVD.
Boxing Illustrated Magazine, TV4U, and the TVS Television Network are all owned by Margate Entertainment LLX, a Henderson, Nevada based audio, video, and print content company.
