Under the partnership, Strode will promote reBounces' revolutionary Green Tennis Machine at his various matches over the next year. reBounces will support Strode in his dream of becoming a full-time tennis professional on the Tour.
New York, NY, August 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- reBounces, a leader in green tennis, is proud to announce its partnership with Blake Strode, NCAA All-American and recent champion of the men’s US Open National Playoffs. Under his partnership with the only carbon negative tennis company, Strode will promote reBounces’ revolutionary Green Tennis Machine at his various matches over the next year. Additionally, reBounces has acquired Carbon Credits to offset Strode’s training and travel to competitions.
Strode is embarking on his first full year on the ATP World Tour. He was a four-year scholar athlete at the University of Arkansas and recipient of the 2009 ITA National Arthur Ashe Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship. Most recently Strode captured a US Open Qualifying Wild Card after winning nine straight matches in the first ever US Open National Playoffs. Strode is currently deferring his acceptance into Harvard Law School to pursue his dream – playing on the ATP World Tour.
“Blake is a talented, driven player and young man,” said reBounces co-founder, Cannon Fletcher. “We are excited that Blake is joining the reBounces ‘green’ movement and helping us getting the word about our game changing technology – the Green Tennis Machine. We are also proud to bring the first 'carbon neutral' tennis player to the Tour.”
“I am thrilled to partner with reBounces given their leadership in greening the sport I play for a living,” said Blake Strode. “I think players of all skill levels join me in my desire to reduce the impact our game has on the planet – starting with the balls on the court. I am still amazed by the technology reBounces has developed and am excited to get the word out that you can economically extend the life of your tennis balls and then recycle them properly with reBounces.”
