Red Fez Publications Announces Nominations for Best of the Net Anthology

Underground authors recently published at Red Fez Publications receive nominations in recognition of their outstanding work. Sundress Publications’ 2010 Best of the Net Anthology continues to promote online publications.

Jacksonville, IL, August 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Red Fez Publications is pleased to announce their nominations for the 2010 Best of the Net Anthology produced by Sundress Publications.

In a continued effort to promote underground writing, the following writers have been nominated for the 2010 Best of the Net Anthology for their recent work published in Red Fez Publications— MK Chavez, "I Married the Small Press"; Paul Corman-Roberts, "Call Me Mister"; James H. Duncan, "Where Paupers Sleep Like Kings"; Robert Louis Henry, "Katie or Amanda or Brittany"; Misti Rainwater-Lites, "America You Can..."; Pela Via, "Burning Hot Girls"; Dale Wisely, "6 Signs of the End Times" and Susan Yount, "Every Other Day Was Like That".

Thirty stories and sixty-eight poems were considered for nomination. All of the entries were published online between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010. They can be read in the archives at www.redfez.net.

From the Sundress Publications website:

"This project works to promote the diverse and growing collection of voices that are choosing to publish their work online, a venue that still sees little respect from such yearly anthologies as the Pushcart and Best American series. This collection will hopefully help to bring more respect to an innovative and continually expanding medium."

Submissions for the fifth volume of Best of the Net opened on July 1, 2010. Nominations are received from editors of online-only journals through September 30, 2010. The 2010 judges are to be announced in the fall. Finalists are chosen and the issue is published online in the spring of the following year. For more information visit www.sundresspublications.com/.
