The New Year’s Eve celebration will be preceded on December 28th at 3PM EST by a special live 30 minute behind-the-scenes look at the big event including arrival and installation of the "2007" sign at the top of One Times Square; the rigging of the 77-foot pole from which the Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball descends; the assembly and testing of the crystal New Year’s Eve Ball; and other preparations for the festivities.
