In this position, Carnes screens and assesses various technology ventures. He has experience in multiple venture capital–backed startups, including Illinois Superconductor Corp (NASDAQ IPO) and private-equity turnaround situations, particularly in medical devices.
Quotes:
“Steve has experience in many different industries, along with expertise in the areas in which Fuentek specializes,” said Schoppe. “By knowing the IP management industry backwards and forwards, Steve, like the rest of our consultants, can critically analyze every technology’s commercial potential.”
