Neal J. Blaher Receives the Distinguished Service Award from the Legal Aid Society

Orlando, FL, September 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Orlando attorney Neal J. Blaher has received the Judge J.C. ‘Jake” Stone Distinguished Service Award from the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association. This Award is the highest recognition given by the Legal Aid Society for pro bono work by attorneys. Since joining the pro bono panel in 1988, attorney Blaher has represented and helped 90 children as court-appointed Guardian ad Litem, and has contributed over 1400 hours on completed cases. The function of the GAL to advocate for the best interests of a child suspected to be a victim of parental abuse, neglect or abandonment.
